The Ego Death World Tour by comedian, Chris Rock, has added another date to its Houston stop, making it the 2nd date in Houston and the 4th in Texas. Weeks following the occurrence of Will Smith taking matters into his own hands on stage at the Academy Awards, the media is still in an uproar.
Fans do anticipate that he'll discuss the slap at the comedy standup although he's stated that he won't, the added shows and sold out bookings show that fans may believe otherwise.
The slap came after Rock commented on Smith's wife, Jada's shaved head and compared it to "G.I. Jane" as she later openly announced her suffering of chronic alopecia. Smith later issued a public apology to the Academy Awards along with a personal apology to Mr. Rock & his fans while receiving a 10 year ban from the awards show, plus resigning as a an Academy member altogether.
We can only contemplate on what Chris Rock will bring to the Sugar Land show this fall but at least Houstonians have 2 opportunities to be there or hear about it.
